The Lizard Ridge blanket has made quite a mark in the knitting world. Come learn why. The perfect way to show off the fantastic colors of Noro yarn, Lizard Ridge is also a great portable project to work on over time. Master short rows (way easier than you think), learn to knit backward (super easy and very fun, don’t be scared!) and create a true work of beauty. We will also cover how to piece your work together for different looks and finishing options.
Materials: two skeins of Noro Kureyon or Silk Garden in different colorsways, size 7 or 8 needles (Bryspun) works great for working short rows) and the Lizard Ridge pattern free from Knitty.com
(http://www.knitty.com/ISSUEfall06/PATTlizardridge.html). Important: Students must go to Knitty to print their pattern. This is a copyright issue and allows Knitty to continue to bring us lots of creative, free patterns and support indie designers.
