Casting Off with Style -
Now that you’ve finished the knitting, what cast off will you use? There are many to choose from, so we’ll explore a variety of methods that are useful in different situations. Here are the materials you’ll need to bring with you to get the most out of this class: 6 pre-made swatches (1 in k1, p1 rib, 1 in k2, p2 rib, 1 in garter st, 3 in stockinette st) in a smooth sport or worsted weight yarn, 20 stitches by about 2 inches (put the stitches on a piece of waste yarn once the swatch is made); the knitting needles you used, and a tapestry needle.
