Part workshop, part dress-up party! Julie gives a short talk with hand-outs and visuals on what to look for and avoid when choosing patterns for your body type. Then everyone tries on the sweaters from the trunk show and we give each other feedback on what works, what doesn’t and why!

Our summer warehouse sale will be held at Knitterly this year.
The Muench yarns warehouse is being used for bigger and better things, like more yarn!
Soooo our great sale will be in the downstairs area below Knitterly, and on the sidewalk in front, still great deals to be had just a bit smaller space for shopping in. We will have great deals on “bag” yarn by GGH, Muench, Lana Grossa and Plymouth, with choices of millions of random current and discontinued single skeins for your knitting enjoyment.
Sale hours will be the same as the shop,Thursday, Friday 10am to 6pm, Saturday 10am to 5pm & Sunday noon to 4pm.

Double Knitting – learn the basics of Double Knitting. This technique can be used in all manner of ways from a no-sew turned up hem to knitted tubes (pockets and socks) on two straight needles to two socks worked simultaneously (á la Anna Karenina). In class we’ll make a little ipod/cell phone bag.
