Instructor: Darlene Hayes 1 class $35 The Essence of Lace: Habu's Fu Shawl Lace is one of the hot trends for fall, but a good piece of lace never really goes out of style. Together we'll explore the essential components of knitted lace while making the lovely Fu Shawl from Habu Textiles. We'll start a scarf using the same basic pattern during class. I'll share some tips for working lace patterns in general and the Fu shawl in particular. For the class you'll need 4 cones of Habu Textiles Tsumugi Silk (A-1), size 5 needles (circular or straight, although a circular needle at least 36 inches long has definite advantages), some stitch markers, some thin waste yarn (any kind will do as long as it is thin) and a copy of the Fu Shawl pattern.
