cutest yarn samples ever!

Posted on November 01 2013

So we got this pattern for a super simple baby sweater on Thursday and  we've all gone crazy making them! I've made 4 in four days! We use unusual yarns, not what you might think of  for a baby sweater, like the alpaca-silk-cashmere blend called Road to China by the Fiber Company , Terra -another amazing textured blend, Twice Tweed by Elsbeth Lavold -super rustic amazing body really earthy colors, Malabrigo- hand spun kettle dyed angora beeeeutiful, Be Sweet Bambino- ( really a baby yarn) super soft & cute colors, Blue Sky Alpacas brushed suri -another soft & fluffy, nice muted colors, Eco Butterfly Cotton- one of my personal favorite baby yarns, Summer Tweed by Rowan- soft, good body, sweet colors. Many more yarns will be chosen for this project  I'm sure because it shows off the yarn, knits up quick, one or two skeins, and hopefully besides making you all want to knit baby sweaters it also shows you how great the yarn will be for ALL sized sweaters. All the sweaters are piling in by the day , some still need buttons so I'll post more pictures as the sweaters are finished........ [slideshow]
