Attaching a removable Pom Pom

Posted on July 14 2015

20140204-140317.jpg First your supplies: Your knit hat Sewing needle Thread Button Pom Pom (faux fur/ fur/ yarn) Flip your hat inside out 20140204-135548.jpg Sew on your button. I pulled my Pom Pom in through the top and stretched it out a bit to see where to place the button. 20140204-135141.jpg I skipped using thread and found a button with holes big enough for the DK weight yarn I used. 20140204-135442.jpg Feed your Pom Pom into hole at top of hat, now knot Pom Pom (so there is a loop)and slip over button. 20140204-135747.jpg 20140204-135814.jpg 20140204-135837.jpg 20140204-135903.jpg Now you can leave on or not. I personally think the Pom Pom makes this hat. But to each their own ;) Have fun! And make things you love! Happy Knitting! xx Ash
