Welcome fall colored leaves. So gorgeous in the trees and so crunchy on the ground. I love the way the light looks in the fall. How it dances through the trees and creates a golden glow throughout day. It's such a beautiful season. And best of all... it's finally sweater and blanket season!!
Knitterly is bursting with chunky and fun yarns; Woolfolk, Katia Wool Love, Plymouth Baby Alpace Grande (yellow cowl on Emma in the featured photo is made from this), Noro Silk Garden Solo, Loopy Mango, and SO much Madelinetosh... HOME, VINTAGE, PASHMINA, UNICORN TAILS and A.S.A.P.We are building our Knitterly (Shelli) created library of patterns too. They are all inspired by yarns that come in and for the most part, easy (advanced beginner) and quick (i.e. christmas gift ideas)!! The Moto Vest, the Necessary Cowl, the Outlander Pattern for Claire's Capelet, and the Claire Outlander Cowl. And.... Shelli has promised to come back from France with a new (at least one) idea for a pattern. Stay tuned for that update! And then there's weaving... I have weaver fever! The chunky yarns are inspiring me every time I walk into the shop. The Madelinetosh A.S.A.P. is crazy inspiring. I am like a moth to the "neon" flame. Neon Peach and Holi Festival are going to be my inspiration for the next couple weeks. If you are a weaver or addicted to MadTosh check out the super fun Madelinetosh Unicorn Tails. I have the best electric blue fringe shimmying off my loom. My kids were bummed when I told them they weren't actual tails. Come in or shop online and get a dose of inspiration on this gorgeous day! xx Ash
